Wigan Pier is indeed a tourist attraction tho to be fair folks one would indeed be forgiven for blinking and missing all two ft of it in all its fine splendure being perhaps obscured from view from all the litter floating by the side of the Leeds Liverpool canal these days
And thats after you have toiled and sweated whilst working the many many locks along the way. Well if you had any sense about you one would indeed get ones self a nice WENCH with a sturdy set of pins and walking shoes to work the said locks all day as you get fixed up with the wheel and the odd can of beer or nine whilst shouting out orders all day every day
In a hope that she wont scupper the boat on sight of the infamous Wigan Pier haha |
