Are you someone that shows your last online and keeps the blue ticks on to show you’ve read a message? Or are you one of the shady ones that hides your last online and doesn’t have read receipts?
I have all my stuff on, don’t really care if someone can see when I was last online and I show the read receipts.

I do though I can get why people don't as sometimes people throw a strop when you've been online but not replied to them  . Sometimes I'm on my way to see friends or something and using WhatsApp to communicate with them so we can find each other and leaving conversations of just general chatting unread to reply to later when I'm not busy. |

When you’re online it will show online but when you’re not it’s just blank, doesn’t show when you were last online.
My friend who’s a top slag for a guy (not on here but should be) he says he doesn’t show his last seen and doesn’t have the blue ticks on cos he’s talking to so many girls he turns everything off to avoid the drama of one of them saying you’ve read my message but not answered me or you were online but not replied! Said it saves him hassle! |

My sister is so shit at replying to messages and she does a lot of travelling on the motorways. I use her last online as reassurance she’s made it to her destinations, especially in bad weather!
I sound like her mother now but she’s 11 years younger than me, she’s like my baby. |

I (her) have nothing to hide and if I haven't replied its because I am genuinely busy or I genuinely forgot.

I only use WhatsApp for family and friends outside of Fab and don’t mess with those settings.
On Kik if I notice so have a messageI reply, but as have notifications turned off.
I like to choose when I use both here and Kik rather than either of them choosing for me |

I don’t have the last online on. I like to keep a bit of mystery. And if they fuck me off the read receipt thingy goes off too.
I takenthe road of “wanna play games? I can play them better”.
This only applies to the men in my life. Not my mum. |

I hid the last online thing some time ago because of a bit of drama and not changed it back. It's far easier. Also, if I'm staying up 'til daft o'clock talking to someone quite a lot, it means my Mum doesn't see I have been and ask why. |

I have last online and blue ticks turned off, I'm a nightmare for reading a message while busy and thinking 'I'll reply to that later' and then forgetting. Also have a friend I've known since we were kids who I get on with but is sometimes a bit full on, and if she sees I'm online I get bombarded with messages at all times of the night. |

Mines set to off for both. Comes mostly from having work colleagues including my superiors use WhatsApp from time to time. They can’t see when I’ve been on my phone then |

So easy to tell whether your msg has been read. Try and delete it. If it gives you opinions then it genuinely hasn't been read.
I don't use it for fab friends as i don't give out my number. |

Mine's all on and openly displaying.
I prefer to see blue ticks, to know if my thoughts have entered their consciousness. I'm not so bothered whether the last on is showing or not, though it does help sometimes, to know someone is around. |

The only thing I do is read messages from the lock screen and that’s only if I know I can’t respond straight away or I know it’s gonna lead to the other person wanting a full on conversation.
My sister and one of my best friends always do video chats or voice notes on WhatsApp so it looks like I’m online a lot.
Plus my street where I live has a group chat and someone’s always bumping their gums on that, can I have some milk, anyone got a fag, who’s cat has shit in my garden, someone’s recycling bag is outside my house can you pick it up. Fuck off like  |

Although if your mum is also on at daft o'clock she'll see you 'online' but then she has some questions to answer herself as to her night-time antics pmsl. |
