Or is it all just bunkum?
Middle child here by the way"

No, just from a family who do these things. |

Youngest child but much older siblings. Probably more of a only child. I probably was spoilt to a degree but not spoilt with time. I'm not selfish though like only child /youngest child's usually are, if anything I'm too giving. |

The story of three very young children and some earthworms. NOT MY STORY! Bloody funny though
Child one ate a worm: parents panic rush kid to A&E at breakneck speed, packed with fear and worry as well as guilt. "Is she going to die nurse?". Nothing to worry about, all is well (except for the worm).
Child two does the same thing, a few years later at the same age: No panic: just a "Hope he'll still eat his tea later, no upset stomach or anything.
Child three..does this again (so as not to feel left out). Dad says "...that's one less meal to cook tonight!". (Bad news for the WHOLE worm colony).
So that might be closer to the truth than some people are willing to admit.
I was that worm chomping baby! Me Veggie/vegan? Never!

Youngest of two. I'm way more care free than my brother and ,frankly, more intelligent. However, he is a hard worker. A complete spoiled twat with a massive ego though...we dont get along.
Surprisingly, I have more in common with my mother who is the oldest of 6 and acts like a 16 year old girl sometimes...sometimes the traits stick, sometimes they dont. I think it has more to do with how you are raised. Blood Brothers. Nature vs nurture I guess. |

I think it's reasonable to assume that your birth order will affect you, including via finance, parental resources, mothers physiological status, relationships with siblings, learning from siblings and a lot more. It doesn't mean everyone becomes the same, based on order but that they will have influences and these will be evidenced in populations. I'm middle |

"I used to work with a woman and during interviews she would determine birth order and would only ever recruit a first born child. "
That's because us oldest ones are the cleverest, brainiest and bestest |

Her belief was that they could handle responsibility better and that the youngest was spoilt and wouldn't accept authority! |

And how does that apply to twins? |
