What does it take to get on Hot Photos?

I uploaded a great b&w photo of Alice's bum on Feb. 16th. It got about 70 fabs in 24 hours, but it still didn't get onto hot photos, even though some on there had less fabs.
What am I missing?
Obviously, it's not important, but the missus would've got a kick out of it. I'm just wondering why it might not have made it, even though some on there had less fabs? |

The total fabs on the hotlist pics are those that pics acquire in 12 hours not 24.

I’ve been on and off here a few times and managed to get near the top of page one surprisingly wearing a tracksuit top only opened abit showing a little cleavage.. it’s crazy a suppose it’s just down to whose online when you post the picture.... |

Not sure why people think getting to the top of hot pics is the holy grail, surely just getting fabs from people that interest you is far better than 1000 people that don't?? |

I totally agree with that and like being fabbed too but I find it more fun chatting and getting to know people! |

I think it also depends on the audience though. Put a pic up that the majority of men will like and it'll get a good few fabs. Pick your audience with something more specific and it'll get further if there's more men into that specific thing. |

Not sure why people make assumptions in forums. Did I act like it was the holy grail? I even said it's not important.

I was not aiming my comment at you OP, sorry if you thought that, just meant I have seen on quite a few profiles where people say they want to get to the top. I would be flattered if I made it high up and appreciate the fabs I get! |

Timing, themes (faces, cum pics, gaping holes) having a large fan base, begging for fabs (tho some don't need to) and ironically getting on page one increases that fan base and virtually guarantees subsequent pics make page one. |

Time of day affects your chances greatly. What day and what time are most users on Fab and likely to see your profile?
Being near a large population centre helps too, and set your GPS location to ‘on’ so your ‘New Pics’ pop up on the local updates for as many people as possible.
Then friends. I suspect the people that regularly end up in the top pages have large groups of friends that see the new photos and automatically Fab them.
We ended up on page 6 by accident one day, so now we use the above to actually avoid getting too much attention, and tend to post any new pics at obscure times.

I only have 24 friends and it’s actually my friends who tend not to fab my pictures! I was top of hot pics since Sunday but now I’ll gradually drop down the page, think my picture on there now got something like 6 thousand fabs. |

Wow 6000. Bet that put a smile on your face!!! OP I’ve got 75 in an hour for a pic I just put up but I doubt that will make hotlist and tbh I’m not bothered either way. The fact that anyone would think I look good is a compliment in itself xx  |

Similar, though in much smaller proportion. Only 20% of my friends fab any of my photos. If more did i'd always make page 1 of men hot pics  Not bothered though, just flattered when people appreciate them  |

Timing's got to be right as well (like social media- I'm a marketer so know all about posting at the right time lol). If you post at times when more people are likely to be on (eg after work) there's a better chance they'll see it at the top of their local updates or hotlist updates and so better chance of getting fabbed. |

This is strange because posting at midday seems to get me my most fabs. Also, it means the 12hrs are in best use, rather than 6pm-6am when people will be sleeping |

Time of day, content, and sometimes just sheer luck. Some of ours have been on page 1 of the couples hot list previously whilst others, ones we think are much better photos, weren't so popular. |
