Not really, no. They had their reason for hiding their profile. I know a few people here that hid their profile, and just use old message threads to chat to people. |

Not at all. Being contacted by someone with a hidden profile is very sweet - I like that they are being selective, it shows a level of class and discretion. |

Some people us included hide our profile when we are taking a break from meeting... for us it means that we don’t have to respond to messages that aren’t going to lead anywhere if we aren’t currently meeting... we don’t come up on searches and also don’t make direct contact with others when our profile is hidden x |

Plus mine is a rather bland profile anyway so doubt anyone would notice the difference between the two

This for me too.
Conversely frustrating, you make a comment on the forums and someone contacts you asking you to show your profile/ask if you're meeting etc! |

No but I don't understand why people hide their profile but still send messages, winks ect...
If I hide it means in interested in chatting or messaging. |

No not frustrating, but if they don't have any pics or info then why bother with them if they can't be arsed to make an effort! Also I've generally thought if they are hidden it's because they have blocked you or you don't match any of their preferences?? |
