I'm trying to compile a CD of real easy listening music for my long journeys south and so far I've come up with the following:
Carole King - It's Too Late
Judy Tzuke - Stay With Me Till Dawn
The Korgis - Everybody's Got To Learn Sometime
Kike Dee - Amoureuse
Don Maclean - Vincent
Rod Stewart - Sailing
Rod Stewart - The Killing of George
Billy Joel - Just The Way You Are
Christopher Cross - Arthur's Theme (The Moon & New York City)
Christopher Cross - Sailing
Patrick Swayze - She's Like The Wind
David Gray - Babylon
David Gray - Sail Away
David Gray - This Year's Love
Dan Fogelburg - I'd Really Love To See You Tonight
Bread - Baby I'm A Want You
Bread - I'd Like To Make It With You
Glenn Campbell - Witchitaw Lineman
Elton John - Daniel
Elton John - Rocket Man
Now, before you say: "you sad fuck!" let me just say that I'm a definate Indy fan and love proper hardcore stuff like The Stereophonics/The Verve/Echo & The Bunnymen, but on a four-hour journey you can only handle so much headbanging music. So, if you feel there's a song I haven't thought of please feel free to add it to the list for consideration. Ta.

Enya's ok but I'm after music I'll enjoy listening to and not sleeping to, I want to die peacefully in my sleep like my father, not screaming like his passengers were. lol |
