I've just tried to start a thread of quite politically incorrect jokes only to have it removed instantly.

So while many topics are open for discussion how come this one was shut down so quickly......after all they were only jokes.

I just wanted to find out how many other people out there had a very dark sense of humor.

Know your audience for jokes. And fab definitely isn’t it. I leave most of my sense of humour at the door as I enter

Ah point taken,I shall keep my humour close to my chest and stick to topics about feltching,fisting,snowballs and swirlees lol

Haha exactly that. Bare in mind though. Don’t confuse your snowballs with your snowflakes. That’s when the trouble could start

These days you can only tell black jokes if you're black, Jewish jokes if Jewish, disabled jokes if you're disabled etc etc. The best comedian I've heard for a long time was a black, Jewish, disabled lesbian. There was a young disabled guy on BGT a few years ago telling disabled jokes which the audience apparently found hilarious, but had it been a non-disabled guy he probably would have been tarred and feathered, and the audience would have all gone to hell. It's a strange world.

No they were certainly not racist jokes....they were dark humour but certainly not racist.

Wonder if you apply this quote to every joke thread that's on here as I've seen quite a few since I've joined this site.

They were more like jokes from the 70s from what I saw

If your content gets removed, it's ideal to use it as a learning experience only and not to repost about it. Also revisit the site rules and what we have all agreed to.

There is no law against political incorrectness but if you accept that your material isn't correct in some way for the public of today, it's perhaps reasonable to think twice before posting.

I have a very dark sense of humour, but I've never attracted a ban, or even censure. There is a difference between dark humour and poor taste though.
