Probably appeal and have it reduced to 1 season but it still will be an issue for them.
On the other side of the coin it means the teams battling for europa could be battling for a champs league spot |

Leicester City is having a bit of a bad time lately.
0/0 Wolves just hope Man City can drop a few more points.
But I was hoping Leicester will beat Man city |

Brian Clough once said to the Leeds players ' you can get all of your cups and caps and pans and throw them in the biggest dustbin you can find because you have never won any of them fairly' large dustbin on it's way to man city now. |

They will appeal this and get it overturned.
FFP is really about protecting the status quo. Clubs like City, Liverpool, United, Chelsea etc spend millions, yet if another club wants to spend similar amounts to try and break into the top four then FFP stops them.
The Premier League really has ruined football. |

"Ok I’m not a Man City fan
I’m a Liverpool fan,
But this seems a bias attempt to block England’s dominance in Europe again.
It’s no different to what PSG or Real Madrid do every year "
im a Liverpool fan too, but City are hardly dominating or even threatening to dominate Europe... theyv had warnings and they didn't heed them. |

Yep and that's why he only lasted 44 days! What a way to introduce yourself to the new players. He was right though |

UEFA have never really liked English clubs or the national team always get the heaviest fines and bans. The last year or two Man City supporters have booed the UEFA Champions League music so perhaps UEFA probably want to punish Man City.If Man City are too be banned for 2 years then so must PSG how much have they spent on Mbappe & Neymar I can’t see how they balance the books with regards to financial fair play rules. |

"If Man City are banned will that mean the team finishing 5th will get a Champions League place or will England lose a place ?"
yes correct. but theyll appeal for sure and the length of time the appeal will take will mean any ban they serve, if any, will almost certainly start after next season in my opinion |

Not just the last year or two
UEFA are as corrupt a body as the IOC, Olympics committee, filled with self serving bureaucrats.
They don't like change and are protective of the European old boys network of Spanish, German and Italian clubs.
Any upstart club with new money is to be crushed and put aside and the old order maintained
New money is actually good and shakes up the system
UEFA will always punish any attempt to change
That is why Man City fans always boo the UEFA anthem and will continue to do so |
