It would've been Manchester Arena 1999 or 2000, can't remember which. I went to Radio 1 One Big Sunday the same year (I think!)

That's the one! Went with my first "proper" boyfriend and his mates. The first time I'd been allowed out in town at night. Boyfriend was 6ft 7in so pretty safe

They should just do a massive boy band festival.

NKOTB, Backstreet Boys, Take That or Boyzone, Nsync, Boyz 2 Men, 98 degrees and Richard Marx (since he helped write most of all of their songs)

Instead of t-shirts they'd have to sell underwear though.

Supremes, Martha and The Vandellas, Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson and The Miracles and Earl Van Dyke. Georgia Game was also on the bill.The theatre was almost empty. As a young school kid I had bought one of the cheapest tickets but was allowed on the front row because so few people were there.

There's one paul van dyke track i love, i ended up getting one of his albums on the back of it.

There's a really good album called "miles gurtu"..it's an album by robert miles. He's prob known best for the trance song "children".

(the album is a collaboration of jazz musicians mixed with his electronic stuff)

He was 16. We didn't ask what he got up to. The fact he came home, in one piece, looking more or less the way he did when he left was enough for us
