So the time has come

for me to close this chapter on my life.
A couple of months ago I met a wonderful lady in the vanilla world, although she has been up for trying so many things that's she's never done before and we've formed a fantastic dynamic in our relationship, I had decided against removing my profile from fab until I was sure it was going somewhere and also, partly because we have been so totally in tune with each other sexually, just the outside chance that she might express some curiosity about the scene when I finally shared with her the fact that I have, shall we say, dabbled.
For all of those out there in single- but-not-really man land who come on here with single profiles asking how to get the wife into swinging, the answer is, you don't. She'll either be curious or interested or definitely not. And if she's not, that's where it ends.
As we've been totally honest and open with one another, as we were having a chat yesterday over something else, I found an appropriate opportunity to drop it into the conversation.
And it very nearly broke us.
She was shocked and I felt awful, mortified that I had misjudged it so badly. When I have been so good at picking up on her desires and fantasies normally.
And so, good people of fab, this is why I must leave.
I always knew that if I were in a relationship with someone, any continued involvement in the scene would have to be with full knowledge and consent of any partner and preferably with her joining in.
It's not something I would ever consider doing behind a partners back.
To those of you who have interacted with me, debated with me in the forums, disagreed with me, blocked me, fabbed me, or even just vaguely recognise my user name, I thank you and I wish you all the very best for the future.

That’s very interesting and a valid reason to be leaving Fab.
I’m in a very similar situation and been so close to telling her about Fab. I have mentioned an interest in visiting a club together and she wasn’t shocked at the idea.
