Hi all, all my life I always thought that size 8 girls were the perfect girls, and what I was attracted to , and all I ever went for, and still am attracted to, but only since joining fab a few months ago, have seen lots of naked pictures of real women I have started to become more attracted to curvier fuller figure girls and find them extremely attractive, what I mean is I find all sizes of girls attractive from size 8 up, so I guess I was shallow, this has only started recently after 40 years, I have had a complete change of mindset of what the body beautiful is, has this happened to anyone else |

Well apart from the ones you can buy online for about 3 grand but they're hardly full of sparkling conversation and your mum isn't likely to want to meet them either." |

I posted a thread the other day asking "wrinkly bints" to get in touch because I was looking for an older woman
No one battered an eye
But when someone relatively new to the forums starts a thread, everyone picks up on one thing and starts bitching? |

The OP used one ‘incorrect’ word but his post is still a positive one.
OP you are definitely not alone in your thinking of what people deem attractive in their earlier years. Enjoy your admiration of women of all shapes and sizes, may you have a lot of fun along the way |

I'm with you on that OP...I've always been self conscious about my body and always thought that the Perfect woman was a size 8/10 but since being on fab I now know we are all beautiful in are own way what ever shape and size we are!! |

Ok people don’t get your thongs in a tangle, I said in my post that it was a seismic shift for me and that I was shallow, my image of sexy women was always the airbrushed magazine model images, what I mean by “real women “ are the normal everyday women with profiles on fab, who I now find attractive, can everyone stop being so PC |

I have to agree with the OP though even with his use of the 'real women's wording.
Female curves are a wonderful thing, I love all body sizes and shapes regardless as it's as much about the way you carry yourself as it is your figure but the classic 'Jessica Rabbit' hourglass is a sight to behold.
Yes now I know she was a cartoon character before all of you women jump on me (I wish) but the characature of her was taken to represent the sexiest of female attributes.
Thankfully there has been a recent shift towards acceptance of all figures as proven by the body positivity movement,
Sexy is far more than a dress size.
Every woman is real and all are very much appreciated |

Definitely see a good thing!
Size has always been pretty irrelevant to me I find people of various different sizes attractive and someone's weight/height, be that large or small isn't what makes someone attractive to me.
Good for you though OP and happy fabbing |

Although I do usually think it's offensive when people say 'real women' to mean a particular shape, I think in this post the OP just meant everyday people, of whatever size, that he wouldn't normally have seen naked. I like that about fab too, it's why I prefer less staged/edited pics as I see men and women with all sorts of different bodies and supposed imperfections that I find attractive. Just like loads of people choose amateur porn over professional because it's real people and real sex. |

My (Mr) views haven't really changed over the years in terms of what size ladies I find most attractive.
What has changed had been the age that appeals the most. As a younger, and middle aged man, it was always the youthful look that appealed (younger than me, anyway!), but somewhere along the way, I suddenly found myself looking at older, more mature women and finding them much more attractive.
Don't get me wrong, I can still recognise an attractive young girl when I see one! But given the choice, I now find I'd much rather jump into bed with her mum!! |

I think it’s a positive shift OP, women (and men) of all shapes and sizes are gorgeous. So bored of being told that slimmer or bigger is more attractive. How about, as this post is doing, celebrate all sizes, and acknowledge that everyone is attractive. They may not be to you, but being polite and respectful is the mature way to respond to it.
Too many sizeist posts, making people who aren’t that size out as being less somehow. This is great! xx |

I'm loving the recent shift of celebrating people of all sizes, there are so many keywords now proving this not just with regards to women but also to men.

I have to say that as far as we're both concerned our preference on what we find attractive remains the same. That might be because we came to swinging relatively late.
I noticed a thread yesterday celebrating how supportive fab forum m_mbers are. You think the support is selective. |

More eloquently put than I could. The 'real' men/women/people choice of words is a bug bear to me, but that's my issue I suppose. Being made to feel less of a woman because my dress size is not the conventional slim size. Apologies OP, I know you weren't being malicious x |

I read the ops 'real women' as women who you would see in everyday life. Not the supermodels splashed all over the glossy mags. Yes they are also real women, but have been airbrushed and photoshopped to within an inch of their life. I didn't read it as a certain sized woman isn't a real woman |

Honestly! The OP was saying he has changed his opinion and finds many different women sexy now, and all you can pick up on, is the word "real"!!
Get a grip!!
I think it's as opposed to the media fed image that a lot of people only have exposure to.
I too was delighted to discover what "real women" looked like naked when I started going to clubs. It gave me so much more confidence about my own body, knowing there was every size and shape out there, under the clothes and we were all normal! |

The phrase "real women" is always contentious - as is the phrase "real men"! I think the point you were making is clear, OP, and I don't believe you meant to offend However, I don't think it's out of order to point out how the phrase can be offensive either. It's all about how you say it, rather than what you say, I think - and how you respond to others. The written word can often be misinterpreted on here.

I’ve had quite a huge shift in my preferences in the last couple of years.
First one was height, I used to say guys over 6 foot only, that was until I got a crush on the guy who worked in the gym with me that was 5’8 tall. Realised that all guys are taller than me anyway as I’m only 5 foot 2 and half so I no longer have a minimum height requirement.
Second most important one was penis size. I used to have a minimum cut off point of 7 inches but that’s gone down to 6 inches as long as the girth is there. |

"Nice to know I'm not a real woman thanks op
Now you’re not a real woman I seem to have a desire for unreal women......
Uh huh. Way to invalidate what I'm saying in some poor attempt to hit on me. No thanks.
Well good morning sunshine"

Invalidate what you’re saying by agreeing with you? You’re the one who declared yourself ‘unreal’ yet have the body type I prefer hence my comment. I’m not hitting on you, don’t flatter yourself "
I didn't declare myself unreal. OP did that with his seemingly poor choice of words to make his point.
If you don't consider the body type you prefer as one that belongs to real women, then you're part of a problem.
Also.. you hitting on me wouldn't flatter me, thanks. Have a nice day. |

From what else you've said, it seems your wording caused confusion and you intended no offence.
Sadly on the forums women are often deemed as not "real women" if they're too thin or too big.
All women are real women. |

Don’t forget if you’ve had breast implants, like myself, you’re also not deemed a ‘real’ woman. |

Moral of the story: don't say anything nice about anyone because some fucker will always take offense regardless
Yeah certain things could have been worded better, but it wasn't. The intention behind what he was saying was as clear as the attention seeking what about me "offense" being thrown at him. |

"I posted a thread the other day asking "wrinkly bints" to get in touch because I was looking for an older woman
No one battered an eye
But when someone relatively new to the forums starts a thread, everyone picks up on one thing and starts bitching?"
Sure they're just an easy target while masses are bored at work or with a chip that doesn't want to face anything. |

Yes. This. My foolish ex husband said this. And now he's an ex for good reason |

I think there were good intentions on the OP.... he's admitting he was wrong and shallow and appreciates other women now he's had the opportunity to observe them... In my humble opinion (for what's its worth) I feel he was suggesting a good thought process
Keep plugging away OP... Soulds like you've had an epiphany to me |

I think most people got what you were saying OP. Don't be put off by some of the picking apart of your post.
To the people who want to call out others on the forum, as said a couple of days ago, please do it without breaking forum rules |

don’t sweat it OP, unfortunately some people can’t wait to jump on a post and pick at people at every opportunity.
And people still wonder why people can be put off posting. |

"I fucking knew it. I saw the word " real" and knew he would get shit over it. It was a lovely positive post by the op"
It was a poor choice of words. People are entitled to point that out.
If people can't handle a small criticism like that then why post in a public forum?
Some of you are acting like the guy was physically beaten up for what he said, not lightly critiqued. |
