I might be going there for 2 days and would welcome some suggestions as I've never been to that part of England.

All I know is that it's an old roman city?

Take a boat trip by pultney bridge. On a fine day it's rather lovely. Takes you past the church and then back again right up to the impressive water steps.

Bath is an amazing place, like a mini Edinburgh.

Loads of bars and restaurants around.

Might even come keep you company

I should probably add, I'll only have about 3 hours of free time there, past 7pm

"You will easily kill 3 hours in the Sleight Bar in the evening........ "

To be honest I would prefer to explore the city rather than drink in a bar.

2 days... with only 7pm till 10pm to explore????

Will you turn into a pumpkin if you stay out longer???

As with most cities... it closes at 5pm...

Other than a theatre and bars and restaurants... you could wander around for 3 hours and window shop!!!

The thermae spa is amazing. I went while it was snowing and it was stunning on the roof top pool in the snow

Gtr Manchester

Cheader gorge not far from there. I found the locals in Bath to be quite rude and unfriendly.

Just around the corner

Take a walk up to Royal Crescent and take in its Georgean architectural beauty, while imagining yourself as a character in Persuasion.

I am off to bath in a few weeks, I plan to see the Roman Baths, have a cream tea and go to the spa. Chilled and relaxed!

There is a holiday inn pretty much right in the centre. I know it's a holiday inn but it's a nice place to stay

I think it was free parking for hotel guests
