Dave Gilmore - Comfortably Numb from Pulse

Alex Lifeson - Xanadu from Exit Stage Left

Daryl Stuermer - Inside Out from But Seriously Live.

"So many to choose from and definitely depends what I'm in the mood for but love some Satriani or Jan Akkerman."

Glad to see a mention of Jan Akkerman. I'm going to throw in Robert Fripp, never been a huge public name, and even in his own band King Crimson he prefers to sit at the back and just play with no on-stage theatrics. Hard to pick out any particular tracks, but Fracture and Starless have pretty incredible guitar work. And then there's a huge amount of session work that Fripp did with other bands giving them a sound that just couldn't have happened without him. Bowie's Heroes - that amazing guitar that raises the track from good to blows your socks off - that's Robert Fripp.

Some great shouts so far. I usually contribute to these threads with something from one of the usual suspects, Rory Gallagher, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Peter Green. Tonight I’m going to give a mention to Danny Kirwan. One of the 5 original members of Fleetwood Mac who doesn’t get as much recognition as Peter Green but is no less worthy. A track he wrote for the band called Something Inside of Me highlights his guitar skills. Sadly no longer with us R I P.

Van Halen - Eddie Van Halen (EVH) - Eruption.

It's got to be him as he re-purposes builds his guitars from different guitar parts, pick ups etc. and saws them up to get a different sound! The red, white, black "Frankenstrat" is the most famous one of his.The Smithsonian had a replica on display in 2015.
