How long can you go with out any sex ?

I think sex is one of those things that - the more often you’re getting it - the more often you want it!
I had great sex last weekend and will hopefully be having equally great sex again this weekend.
However - I’ve had periods whilst on fab of not meeting/having sex for 2-3 months - and far longer periods pre-fab!
The first month or so without it is frustrating - but after that, not having sex becomes a habit and finding people to have great sex with is less of a focus!
That’s me though - no idea if that’s typical of others on here!  |

I (her).... during an unhappy marriage I went without sex for a year, plenty of self love in private.
During this relationship (3.5 years) we haven't gone more than 48 hrs, unless he has been abroad and then phone sex, pics, videos to each other to use during self love moments often help. The reunion sex is always very passionate and exciting x |

7 years without when in a relationship.
Outside of that 1-2 months can pass. Do I have to wait that long, no I don’t, but I know what I like and I’ll wait for when the time is right.

I went without for 2 years in an unhappy marriage, and a year by elective celebacy as a single.
Now I'm a liberated being, if I had the opportunity (with persons of my choosing obvs) more than daily would be my preference  |

We have some form of sexual activity daily , been like it for years longest we gone is around 48 hours and that was only due to an operation but even then we still fumbled just very slowly and carefully |

Just over ten years for me thanks to my love of chocolate and being a twat that didn’t listen to the doctors and nurses but at least I still have my chocolate.

The longest I went without was one year. It was the best thing for me at the time(Oh ahem, I might have had a little thingy thing somewhere in the middle but nothing significant).
Sexual energy is still potent and creative when not being spent on actual sex with a partner. I needed and enjoyed that year. Now I'm lucky to have regular intimacy.. from a much better place as a result!

I could do incredible things, if motivated. I'd struggle with a month but could probably go a year, if I needed to.
Would you consider a compromise if you had gone without for an incredibly long period, whilst increasingly gagging for it? |
