I like words. When I come across words I don't know I write them down with a definition. Here are a couple from my list I have come across recently.

deleterious - causing harm or damage

indigent - poor, needy

Do you have any words to share with us?

Today I like "ramifications". Heard someone say it on the radio this morning and I've managed to include it in two conversations so far today.

You'd like my word a day book

Lugubrious: forlorn, gloomy or sad.

Luctual: provokes mournful emotions.

I love words too. Some good ones from today were monocausal (having one cause), capricious (changeable) and Clitoridectomy (surgical removal of clitoris).
