The best thing about Corrie is, you can miss a few episodes, but when you watch it your again, you're still sad

"Can we not just destroy them both "

I'm game.

Is eastenders still just basically a lot of loud people screaming, shouting and crying at each other and all without washing machines?

I dont watch tv.

I don't watch soaps, but I can have Eastenders on in the background and it not grate on me, with the others however I feel like I'm in Gods waiting room and have to turn them over. I'd seriously rather have adverts on than the drone of Corrie.

There and to the left a bit

Corrie by a country mile - it manages to combine humour and serious issues perfectly, is very well written and observed and leads you to genuinely care about many of the characters.

Eastenders I just find depressing and unrealistic and very very ranty

Brookie was the first soap I got into - back in the days before the kiss where the Grant's were the main family

Its what happens to people who drink alcohol from non recognisable sources, and eat a diet of deep fried canteen food.

Avid Corrie fan...

Wonderful northern humour..

I found last nights episode ( domestic violence) hard too watch, hope it helped some of the sufferers to see another way ( not murder tho!)

"Neither. So depressing "

Definitely this. I used to watch them about 15 years ago but it’s hardly light entertainment anymore from the bits I catch every now and then!

Neither.

Saying that can take short doses of them if it helps bonding.
