if It’s ready for testing, just use it. The virus is spreading fast. No testing on animals who didn’t even have the damn virus. If we die out, we die out. Shouldn’t be using animals to test how to keep dragging this disgraceful species on. |

I guess it's a process we as a species have utilised for years, with a necessary aim.
If you eat meat, and have never hunted, or use animal products and oppose this process you're a hypocrite? |

Animals are innocent, Serial killers, paedophiles, murderers are not. They shouldnt have human rights as they are evil. I think its them that the tests should be carried out on x |

I'm intrigued. These paedophiles on whom it should be tested, does it include all of them? A bloke aged 60 who patted a boy on a bottom thirty years ago and hasn't offended since. Does he qualify? |

It's against the human rights act to force people into medical procedures so no, you can't test on pedos.
We test every single drug on animals. That's how drug trials work.
Test on animals
Test on healthy humans
Test on humans with he medical condition you want to treat
Every single drug we take has been tested on animals. You can't just grab a criminal to test random chemicals and drugs on. The CIA already tried that one and it didn't go down well. |

How often do you hear about clinical trials on humans going wrong? People dying or getting seriously ill?
The answer: Very rarely, and the reason is there is extensive animal testing beforehand for every drug.
If you have a problem with animal testing, that's fine. We can go straight to humans and kill them, it's one or the other. |

I think its scientists at Imperial College London who have made the significant breakthrough in the race for the vaccine.
Animal testing due this week...
No harm in highlighting its British scientists ... in this new age of going it alone we should learn to promote and herald everything great about Great Britain

They've tested on ferrets for a very long time for many many many things that has saved many many many many lives.
They've been working on vaccines for all kinds of coronavirus; as well as many other types of viruses that you can only start developing vaccines for as they come up (however people like to say they were designed by whomever to make money, which is disgusting.)
Research is ugly but until people want to create humans specifically to test in laboratories, this is the only alternative. |
