Following on from the Bakewell Tart thread, I love things that are named after the place they originated from! Eccles Cakes for instance or indeed Bakewell Tart! and not exclusively food!!!

Manchester tart was the signature dessert in one of the restaurants in the gay village - lots of tarts to be had on Canal Street

I'm quite partial to a Chorley cake, and to Singapore noodles (but not on the same plate!).
