I'll come with you as a chaperone in man mode of course.
I need a holiday and don't fancy going on my own.

You’ll be fine OP.
The main thing is just to have your wits about you, common sense, watch your drink intake, don’t leave your drink unattended - all things you would do at home really
I’ve found you are never on your own for long, even if you want to be, I’ve hidden a few times whilst on holiday.
You’ll have a great time, just relax and enjoy it. |

There have been quite a few posts over the last couple of years upon holidays alone, so a search may throw up some really good experiences and ideas from others.
I love to get away a lot and much is alone as my student status gives me plenty of time. It opens many doors that can be invisible in group travel. I enjoy the challenges of things that may not exist otherwise but really love the rewards.
Mallorca is a great place and you can travel around and explore a lot there. The train to Soller is a lovely old slow trip to the harbour town, from Palma. Palma is good too. I found it easy to meet others and engage in Mallorca.
Do a little research before getting there. |

I am a huge fan of Majorca. I have been there on my own a number of times. A friend who is a single woman goes by herself to Majorca.
As the others have said the main thing is alcohol intake as people can be predatory. I know once in Majorca I had made friends with a couple (vanilla) and we ran into a woman out of her face. We took the woman back to her hotel and the wife in the couple took the woman to the woman's room as she did not trust the staff. |

"Not quite a full holiday, but I have just spent 3 full days in chameleons on my own, although of course I did not stay on my own long
I bet you wasn't on your own as soon as you walked in. "
Lets just say the jacuzzi got busy all of a sudden |

Thanks for all the advice and I will have a search on forums I'm not sure I dare venture on trains I have a bad tendency on getting lost and no sense of direction I would probably end up spending my holiday trying to find my way back to my hotel |
