Long story short.

He's in Manchester

And he's a big Man City fan.

So for his birthday he got tickets for today's game.

It's called off ops.

He went over on Friday. And due home tomorrow.

All that money spent for nothing

Plus as a Liverpool fan I think it's really funny.

But joke over.

All that money hotel Train plane etc.

Hillside desolate

That's a shame, but he can still have a good night out in Manchester.

"That's a shame, but he can still have a good night out in Manchester. "

He was saying on the phone this morning that there was a bit of flooding nearby his hotel.

So him and his mate just staying in hotel.

But he might go to the ground to see if the gift shop is open.

He's never been in Manchester so he doesn't know his way around

Wow are you pleased with your shelf calling someone you have never meet pathetic because they don't know a city and its been miserable outside to be happy saying in a hotel. And I hope next time you book and pay a lot of cash for something it breaks or gets cancelled. And am sure you not be upset about it. 1st they was there from Friday they have might have went around Manchester.I did say that they might go to the shop etc. But as am in Belfast and not talking to them every 5 minutes I don't know what they have or have not done. But if i know them they might have found a Man city bar and had a few beers. Two married men in their 50s are not really into clubs etc. But I do know that they said that they wasn't going to drink to much after the match because early start Mon morning.

But harsh

You came on a post about someone being upset about the money they spend on going to a football match and it being called off. And me being a Liverpool fan and his mate making fun of a friend. But saying joke over he did spend a lot of money on it.

And you called them pathetic.

Because they don't know a city as they never been there.

And as they didn't have any back up plans for a match being called off.

So they said they might say in the hotel because it's wet outside.

And you are upset about it poor you are you feeling pathetic because I said bad things about you bye

To be pedantic I said it was a bit pathetic to stay in the room. I didn't call either of them pathetic.

Not sure why that has prompted such vitriol in your 2 replies

To the OP the weather has been rubbish and all the advice is to stay inside unless you have to go out....I guess your friends are doing just that. It is a shame the weekend got spoilt for them
