What newish music do you listen to, that perhaps other people haven't heard of, that you'd recommend?

I'll start the ball rolling..

Animals as leaders- start with the track "behaving badly"

Mitch Murder..not that new but i'd recommend the track "glass cities" - really lush electronic music with an 80s essence to it.

Also anything by the band "12 foot ninja" - An australian band.

I am only suggesting Los Colorados on these threads from now on.

Los Colorados and their super smash sexy cover of the original version of Rammsteins Du Hast.

L O S C O L O R A D O S ftw.

(Ladies, they are shirtless.)

I'd also add "Henge"

- a band from manchester, their music is funny but very well crafted )

There’s a bloke called Tom Macdonald that’s worth a listen. His lyrics are brilliant. The spoken word version of Not Alone blew my mind

I'm liking

Pearl Jam - march of the clairvoyants

Haute - shut me down

Papooz - theatrical state of mind

Parcels - tieduprightnow

Men I trust - show me how

And the video for

Princess Chelsea - monkey eats bananas is joyous.

Currently I'm listening to a band called DeWolff. No idea if they're new but they're new to me!
