Is there a piece of music that makes you cry, not one from a funeral though, just a sad piece

Black lace – We're having a gang bang

“A gang bang is a game we play

It's something of joke

It's lots of hokey-pokey

Less hokes and lots of pokes

It's for the girls and for the boys

It livens up the night

It's better when you're crowded

And when you're packed in tight”

With lyrics like that its enough to make everyone cry.

Yup, certain songs remind me of my late partner, and they will make me cry by bringing back happy memories of our times together.

I tried aversion therapy by playing the songs over and over again in the car, even the dog gets fed up with hearing them!

Tears in Heaven - Eric Clapton....am blubbing just thinking about it

But I think that in future...anything by Chaz n Dave will have me wailing and gnashing my teeth...lolol...R.I.P. guys

What about Sinead O'Connor's version of 'Nothing compares 2 u'? Nobody can hold back a tear when that's playing, I bet you, not even Ross Kemp or Danny Dyer and they're dead hard

Like Jo King above, I also have songs that I associate with my late wife, and I can't hear their opening bars without welling up. I keep thinking 'ah, that'll pass with time...' But maybe we don't really want it to?
