I dunno if you agree but in my head I've always had biscuits as a man thing. Cakes are more of a woman thing. But a bloke likes a biscuit  |

The thing with Marias is that you tend to eat them with something, or as an ingredient in dessert making.
Some countries in Latin America have them with condensed milk on top... or dulce de leche
And most will use them to make a biscuit base for lemon meringue pie, key lime pie... there is actually a much loved cold dessert made with the aforementioned condensed milk, Maria biscuits and lemon juice. I don’t like it, but most people do!
I find that British biscuits are tastier. Bourbon creams are my favourite... |
