It's a beautiful day , so what are you up to

Jump to: Newest in thread

Dear friends Fabbers and Forumites.

Oh golly what a beautiful frosty morning. I've just topped up the bird feeders as we had quite a frost last night. The fields here are glistening like a miryad of diamonds .

I have a jolly day off , so I shall be out on my bycicle in a bit , to just enjoy this gorgous weather . Old man in lycra ha ha

So how will you be sp3ndidng your day ?

What ever you do I hope you have the most wonderful day

Taff

I walked the dogs first thing, before first light, very cold and crisp, fantastic clear skies with a very low waxing gibous moon on the horizon

Now it's sunny and I'm stuck in the office

The birds are really hammering the feeders and fat balls at the minute.

I ride into work on the MTB this morning heavy frost our way but the fields, trees etc looked amazing with the frost on them !

Off out for an hour or so of vigorous dogging.

** Not really. 3 tortuous hours of information governance training at work beckons.

Bit late to work because I couldn't resist the lure of the frosty grass crunching underfoot.

Now looking out the office window to the misty frozen fields, wishing I was out there.

I will be driving to my parents, doing some chores around the house on their behalf, chatting to them, arguing good naturedly with my dad and trying to persuade both of them to take more care of themselves.

Then I'll come home, share a delicious coffee with Mr N, moan a bit about not being able to get my dad to wear one of his many decent jumpers or my mum to see a doctor when she needs one then we'll do a some stuff around the house.

Boring I know but there we go

On my day off, so far my 'friends and family' have asked if I'm free to

Unblock a toilet

Repair a washing machine

Fix an electric garage door

Replace wall sockets for brushed metal ones

Fit some blinds.

Not bad for 10am, I was planning on going to a club but dont think that's happening now

I'm sure we will, we make a point of sitting down together and sharing coffee at least once a day. Also there will be some lively discussion and laughter at my parents
