Wouldn't it be being there for him while chubby and accepting him as chubby without trying to change him. You don't appreciate or respect someone if you try to change them. If he wants to change , asks for help and then you offer support in that then that is being there for him. Assuming someone isn't happy with their weight is presumptuous they want to change anything
People put looks before personality well in 20 more years youll have to rely on personality because your looks won't be the same. Unless youre filthy rich and spend a fortune on procedures to stay looking young. |

I think if every fat/chubby/overweight person could choose what body shape they could have and a magic wand would give them it I doubt many people would say actually I’m happy being overweight/fat or chubby so don’t give me an incredible body. |

I am chubby/chunky.
I goto the gym 4/5 times a week when i can (having gym access and if ankle lets me)
Have taken up boxing
But still wont be doing the whole 6 pack thing.
I really dont mind the way i look, i enjoy what i eat (and alot of that is low fat, but also cake)
I am who i am, and thats how i live.
Oh, and going against the gym fit, i can lift the same weights, i keep up with the 20 year younger than me men at boxing with the training so......

If I could be a size 14/16 and no hanging skin I'd be happy. But I've been 6.5 stone wasn't happy and people still telling me I'm fat because my hips are wide. I've been 18.5 stone I didn't intend to lose weight I lost 5 stone in 6 months. Turns out for various factors I still ate the same I rarely ever over eat and struggle on occasions to get the calories in. But I was unhappy because of the skin I've put 4st back on I've stopped having sex and I'm happier filled out than skin hanging. So yes if there was a magic wand I'm sure people would be their ideal but they all won't be size 0s and they all won't be built like the hulk.
I can't change what I hate the sagging skin because skin won't disappear.
The woman in the news articles who lost 10 or 12 stone in a year lost nearly 5 the rest was skin removal.
When your body battles against you, I have pcos, and cushing syndrome add on that high metabolism it's damned hard to lose weight. Then add in hormones so is it take them but gain weight or don't take them and deal with consequences. Spending 5 years trying to walk and walk properly again. It all adds up.
I'd rather be fat than thinner with skin hanging off me.
Shallow people will always judge till they end up knowing what value inner beauty truly has

disagree.... I'm chunky, my thighs touch, when I bend over I've got more rolls than the local bakery, covered in stretch marks with an arse that wobbles when I walk... Sometimes I eat cake with my coffee for breakfast and I'm hot as fuck haha.... Skinny is over rated in my opinion |

I get what you're saying, I think everyone would love to be able to change something with that magic wand! I don't think everyone would go for the same version of the incredible body though. My best pal would give herself a Love Island body in a minute, but that really doesn't appeal to me at all. I'm a 14 just now and I'd use it to go to a 12, but no smaller as I don't suit it (my boobs deflate and my face looks gaunt), I'd honestly still choose to have a bit of chub as I personally like more curves. I'm never attracted to particularly toned or shredded bodies either, I feel a bit meh over them generally although I can totally appreciate how attractive they are to other people. Whereas big, chunky men or curvy, big ass girls can get me drooling! Each to their own |

I've been ripped, I've been heavily overweight due to over prescription of steroids. I'm finally losing that steroid weight bit still bigger than I'd like. I've not struggled with attracting women at any of those stages (noticing they are flirting with me, that bit I can struggle with!) Overall I would say a lot of woman like wit, charm and humour over looks more often than not.
Of course some have a type and that's ripped and muscly, equally some like chunkier guys, many don't really mind, it's the man they get attracted to. Last time we went to a club I got the attanetion of a few, I'd have assumed out of my league, single girls.
You can see a photo of me on our profile, I'm certainly no Adonis, I do think the tattoos have an impact too, get comments on them often.
Just be witty, charming and interesting, I'm a total geek and a complete nerd, I have used that to good affect before.
