God bless you for being there for his last moments a beautifull thing to give your time to others in need . give yourself some me time to look after yourself

Make sure to look after yourself too. Talk about it and take advantage of whatever support is available. Trust me ... dont bottle it up. I know how you feel, and I know what happens if you dont follow the above advice.

I’m so sorry OP x remember to give yourself some time to deal with this too. It’s one thing I don’t miss, I often used to take the grief home with me when we lost patients. To this day haven’t forgotten the first patient I lost.
