Does anyone know whats best to use for cleaning finger prints of a LCD television screen?
Tried the cloth that came with it to no avail and i don't fancy putting a damp cloth on it.
And no i will not use a brillo pad |

Warm water with a drop of washing up liquid, wet jays cloth and wring the little bugger out until just damp, wipe the LCD screen clean of finger prints, and while still slightly damp polish up with a good piece of kitchen paper towel, or a man size tissue. Buying a cleaning kit is a waste of money and just smears the finger prints around the screen and makes the screen worse than before. |

Ps there is a plastic film running around the edge of the LCD screen, which protects the electronic parts from exposure to accidental moisture, so you can literally pour a cup of coffee down the front of the screen with out any problems, so a little moisture will NOT harm your screen. Most manufactures recommend wiping with a damp cloth any way. A drop of washing up liquid, lifts any oils from the skin left on the screen and holds it to the cloth rather than wipes it over and around the screen. |
