1987 Kia Ora I'll Be Your Dog No Added Sugar 2 Advert
I simply love it, think its a great advert
google it. if you cant remember it.

I think probably because the crows were all blatant Afro Caribbean cliché caricatures and the word Kia Ora is a Maori greeting.
Tastes have changed I guess |

The black and white minstrel show was not considered racist at the time. That’s because this country was a deeply racist place.
Thankfully we’ve got better, but we’re not even close to eradicating racism from our society. |
