Solihull

Food, drinks, games, toys let's have just about anything that takes you back in time.

Porridge in the morning on icy days before leaving for school, mum let the skin form on the top and put lots of sugar on it (I doubt it was unhealthy though as we never stopped running everywhere)

Love that you had such a good relationship with your elders, doesn't seem to be the same now for kids who would rather play computer games than visit them(not all kids though)

They lived on the same street so I was over all the time

My grandad had a snooker table in the back room and a shed full of all sorts to rummage through

Used to help my grandma make scones x

Chams or Socials

Bouncing on the spare beds at my grannies with my cousins. Always the ignoring the threats of a smacked bum

Caravan holidays where you all had to queue for the shower, you’d all be sandy and sunburnt

Delightful Bliss

Used to listen to my dad and his mates playing rock and heavy metal records in his den, I was allowed to snuggle on the chair and listen if I was quiet, my introduction to Jimi and the likes and that's been the only thing I've carried with me as a big interest to this day.

I was 5
