Hi Folks
In great fab tradition I am looking at buying something new so therefore I am in need of the forum insight..
Due to a change in location for work I need a small van... I am looking at either the VW Caddy, or the Citreon Berlingo....
I've also been recommended to look Nissan?
So for all those awesome little van drivers out there, let me know your thoughts please.
Faults, Mileage, Comfort etc its all useful....
Thanks folks

We have a berlingo, had it 4 years now, it's due a change, no issues I can think of. Bit boring really. It's just a van. It's ok to drive, goes pretty well for a diesel. I (mrs) do not drive it often as I hate not being able to see out the back. And I find men never let me out of junctions in it cos they assume I'm a bloke I guess

Berlingo all day long fantastic vans cheap to repair and regularly
See them with 300,000+ miles on
. Avoid The vw are dreadfull unless its a 'pd' 1.9 engine.
i have so many of the 2.0tdi in with terminal faults, they shocking.
Also avoid transit connects we have rooks in with pump faults, injector faults, electrical gremlins. |

"Another vote for the Transit Connect here - good load space, economical, nice to drive.
Downsides are that parts are quite expensive, and the passenger seats are bloody uncomfortable."
We have one and both love it. Great wee van. And yes, passenger seat not the best, but so easy and comfortable to drive. |
