Was loosing your virginty a special moment in your life and puts a smile on your face when you reminisce, or are you like me and wish you had waited and lost it to someone else?

Mine was a god dam disaster and a total let down.

I’m happy with with when and whom I was with when I lost my virginity. I didn’t wait until I thought I’d met “The One” but I also didn’t jump into it like most of my mates first chance they got!

Only regret is I was so damn nervous and didn’t know what I was doing that I started slapping my hard on against her belly and had one leg up on the sofa like a Yoga practicing Cowboy. Couldn’t even blame Porn for the ridiculous

I was very lucky to bag my longterm crush that I had married so many times in my head and imprinted our initials in heart shapes on books. A very special encounter.

Till he met his to be real life wife two weeks later

Yeah it was lovely, in a romantic sense, as we were both virgins, had been dating for a year or two, the sun was streaming through partially closed curtains on a warm summer afternoon. Bowie's Low was on the stereo. If I smell the pefume Poison ever again it will take me straight back to those times.

I rem_mber my overwhelming thought at the time was "I'm actually doing it at last" and of course the sex was poor, but I treasure the memory...

We were both virgins, both quite naive and it was a disaster.

I don't regret it though, I don't wish I'd waited, I don't attach that much importance to it.

A one night stand when I turned 23, I didn't even ask his name I just wanted to know what all the hype was about. It took me over a year to start actually enjoying sex. Now I'm kinda addicted lol

I waited and wish I hadn't, the reality didn't live up to the expectations.

Looking back at the experience I can see it wasn't the greatest night for either of us. I can't put all the blame on the guy, I didn't have a sodding clue about what I was going to experience and what I should / could do to enjoy the experience for myself and to help him enjoy it more. So it was a very awkward encounter and didn't get repeated.

Sex with a more experienced lover (2 yes older than myself) opened my mind and taught me so much about myself and pleasuring my lover .... including eventually introducing me to swinging.

I dont regret losing my virginity in an awkward encounter, looking back I think it's all quite endearing.... my innocence towards sex.

Amazingly underwhelming. Neither of us knew what we were doing. I don't treasure the memory. I don't hate it either. It was more a 'should we get this over with then?' experience.

Now in MALAGA (SPAIN)

We have both planned it for a long time. Kinda romantic way No regrets at all. We both have been virgins. He suppose to be my future hubby but we split a few years after. He married a lovely shy girl, I've married a lovely Spaniard man. Hubby was 10 years older than me and gave me a wonderful daughter.

I don't really get this concept of "losing" your virginity. When I had sex for the first time it didn't feel like I "lost" anything. I had an experience that I hadn't had before.

I've never done a bungee jump, performed open-heart surgery or worn contact lenses. There's no word to describe me as a person who hasn't done those things and I doubt anybody would say I've lost anything for the rest of my life if I did them.

So why do we consider having sex for the first time a loss? I much prefer having a sex life to not having one. If anything, I've gained something.
