Pretty gutted with the performance but good to see French mojo back. Both in players and the crowd. Think they got run of the green (how was that not a knock on?!?). But England asked for it - Curry at number 8. Not the best choice.

Can’t blame Eddie for trying. Lots of calling him arrogant - in all fairness I think he sees these games as experiments but wouldn’t want to lose. Young’s is having a lot of flack - still a great player but only behind Billy V. The team needs that go forward otherwise they lose speed. And then Young’s becomes poor. Need a number 8 specialist before anything.

I’d play Heinz over Youngs any day everything just turned up a notch once he got on the field

True and adds more spark. For sure. I still think England have played a more Young’s type initially (wiggelswoeth?) for first 50 or 60 and then look to increase pace. However, think about games with Billy and the speed at which team has created points up to now. All comes down to Number 8 and the go forward.

The right place

I’m hoping Wales beat Ireland which I think is possible. Ireland looked shaky last week and Wales looked good.

England need a strong performance after last week and I think it’s going to be a great match.

I’d love Italy to beat France but I can’t see that happening.

We need to improve to win in Dublin but I think we have a shot. Ireland had a blood and thunder game to get them in to the championship so they will be all guns blazing.

I recon it’s going to be a good one this year with France knocking it up a notch, the first SixNations after the World Cup can be a bit of a tester though with new players and management all trying to prove their worth

It doesn’t seem to have affected Ireland tho
