From what I heard from insiders, the change of service set-up came about a couple of years ago to supposedly improve Kitchen cooking & service processes, thus making it a faster turn round for customers.
In reality, I find it hasn't worked that well. Food isn't hot anymore as in busy units, the food sits longer in the bagging or traying up area as the fewer staff there are usually overloaded with orders coming thru from the production side. |

"It's cold when you get it from the counter, god knows what that shit is like delivered "
I agree. This new system of supposedly made to order means it comes cold. I'd spend 15 in a year and not enjoy it |

There is a way to get hot food. The production process aspects at busy times, means the key food items (burgers, fries, buns etc) are being cooked in mass batches, usually slightly faster than the orders flowing in.
But don't ask for your Burger in its standard format, ie, as it has come off the 'Production Line'.
Instead ask for it without, say, the Dill Pickle, or Mustard; with Fries, ask for them without Salt (you can get your own salt sachets at the side).
By asking for one small of the add-on food bits to be removed, means they have to create a specific made to order item, separate from the usual churned out food stocks.
That way, it gets made differently, and is invariably much hotter when you get it handed to you! |

"Yeah always add extra pickle or sauce to ensure a hotter burger. McDonald's is a guilty pleasure of mine. Will hammer one of those bigger Mac's with this discount. "
The cheap hamburgers are to die for when they chick loads of gherkins and onions in there |
