Why is there such an ageist agenda with a lot of people on fab mostly having age limit of 55. Now i know we all have a idea of what we want, but isnt putting an age limit stopping you from meeting some great people. |

No but it is stopping us from being harassed by old people.
Everyone is looking for thier version of ideal. If you are not that for someone, move on and you may find something else. |

No it's not stopping people meeting great people. Limit is there to cut wasting everyone's time, messages back and forth to then say sorry not for me too old, which in turn some people would get offended and have a paddy  |

Don't worry op,if they are fortunate,those people that are against you will hopefully one day be 55 and beyond,and only then will they fully understand your pain.
Unless of course,as they age the come to have a better understanding, that everyone has preferences and choice, than you have. |

I guess those with 18-99 would rush to bump uglies with a 98 year old?
Putting an age limit is just another filter. If you're over 55 and struggling then just delete your profile and set up a new one saying you're 25. You'll be knee deep in clunge in no time.
Assuming the people you meet are blind and can't tell the difference between a 25 year old and a 55 year old........
