I want to take my better half to a burlesque show around the 18th may, doesn't matter where in the UK it is but I want it to be a really good one.
I was looking at Volupte but the reviews are not very good. I don't want to take her out and her be disappointed by poor performance or food. I want the excitement, glamour and glitz she would expect to see. This is a birthday suprise so i can't ask her.
So, does anyone here know which places put on a high quality performance?
Please help a guy out as I really want it to be special.

Can't say that I've seen alot of Burlesque, so not sure on what would be a measure of good quality.
There is one in Sheffield on the 19th May.

Sheffield also has Burly Q but not around the same time as you are looking.

Outside of Sheffield if you can go a week earlier, there is the world Burlesque games in London.

So that should be pretty high quality. Hope so as the missus is going to that one.
Have fun |

Cheers, I'll have a look at these. I'm not worried about her seeing this as she doesn't use the forums.
Have seen the championships the weekend before but don't think we can make it.
If there are any more recommendations please keep em coming |

Their is a burlesque evening once a month in York ,I will find out the name but if you google it I am sure you will find it .I don't know about the quality though . We went to a different event in York recently and although it was not the best show in the world it was still great fun |

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack! |
I went to a show at Volupte about three years ago with a friend and we both thoroughly enjoyed it! I will admit that the star was the compere, Jo King but sadly she has left the country and rarely appears. Several of the girls were very good though with quite imaginative routines. Only trouble is the London prices |
