Dont get one they are mental we have a cage free one. A blue and gold macaw called Jasper. They are destructive as hell and they only like one person and that is it. Ohh we also have 7 dogs, a red setter, a rescue German shepherd who was abused and 5 long haired chihuahuas. And to top it all a bunny that i hand reared from a week old she is now 4 years old. She lives in a cage now after a she lived in the chimney for 9 months ( an jumped into a lit fire twice) but she thinks she is a chihuahua and is fiercely guarded by her shepherd. |

I have a Cockatiel thats 15 now. He only really likes me and although hes seen my girls growing up he barely tolerates them. Must be all the arguing that pisses him off. |

I have been thinking about parrots since I was 19 and now I'm 32 I know a lot about parrots and have done so much research about them.
I'm thinking a conure (black capped) had the same bird in mind for years but its such a big deal I am not going into it lightly. |

"I've got an African land snail...not the most exciting or cuddly of pets... but easy to look after and very quiet"
My son wants an African snail he has 3 snakes at dads and knows how to handle them but I won't let him because he's with dad 50/50 and I can't handle snakes |

If you do get one i would recommend the plastic baby toys like toddler toys. You can get them from charity shops. Cheap and they last longer than any parrot toys do and cost a fraction of the price.
They are very beautiful birds but mad as hatters. All of our work like a team parrots and dogs and bunny to create artworks of mischief

I don't have any at present, since my cat died. But i look after 2 neighbours 3 cats on their hols and see them every week, so a little bit of part time pers, without full responsibility. My neighbours can't get their tom cat in in the summer but know he'll come to me as soon as I'm home, after they've spent hours trying to get him to come to them - it must be infuriating. |

I have had big parrot's in the past, a tritan cockatoo and an African grey. I've also hand reared a captive bred barn owl and also worked with big owls, mainly European and African eagle owls.
I currently have a pair of kakarikis called Mr and Mrs Dave.
In the past I've had horses (8)
Chickens, sheep.
I'd also like an alpaca but so expensive.
There is a fantastic group on social media called Problem Parrott's extra. They have some fantastic birds looking for foster or permanent homes. |

"I didn't realise until today that I want a pet magpie!
I have two cats, and quite frankly they are quite enough of a handful. "
Haha so cool we called ours click and it came though my window. He came back for 5 days let him out in morning and he would come back at night.
My budgies sleep in their cage and are allowed in if they want to I leave their cage open all day. They love to hang out on top of the cage.

I knew a guy whose daughter was a vet and he'd home and look after some of the animals she treated that were unwanted. He was part of a hedgehog breeding programme, did you know the babies are called hoglets? the father of them was never allowed near them as mum and babies were guarded by a German shepherd he had who was her closest companion. But best of all he had a spider monkey called Milo. He used to sleep at the bottom of his grand daughters bed and his best mate was a guinea pig. He used to send me pics of Milo wrapped up in his blanket with just his little face poking out |

Where do I start
Well firstly this list is mainly due to my daughter who loves cute cuddly little things. Hence why I’m now dumped
2 chickens now deceased but tasty
2 budgies
3 dogs
1 cat
3 gold fish
I’ve now taken up temporary residence in the shed due to overcrowding |

I currently have two Blanc de hotot bunnies. They’re house bunnies though and they’re sisters. Both neutered and are the most loving bunnies ever. Wish I could take a pic with them cos they’re lush.

Bunnies I'm on a couple of hare preservation pages and a few of the members rescue orphaned leverets and raise them. They're the dearest little things. |

I have a couple of Dutch boys that I rescued. They're house bunnies at the moment but they'll go in the garden when the weather warms up enough. They're funny little things. But they don't half poo a LOT. |
