One of those mornings.

Grumpy daughter, horrid teen. Getting everyone sorted was like wading through toffee.

No one has smiled at me, said good morning or offered me a cuppa.

I'm taking it on the chin but my bottom lip is out!

Its tough being the only adult in the house sometimes!

Could anyone spare me some chirpy good morning vibes? X

Hey Freya, top of the morning to you!

For the first time this week, the sun is out (at times) and today will be a good day!

If all else fails, look forward to that royalties cheque from Morrison’s arriving!? Totally rocking that! But you already know I think that x

Ok ok ok we got this . Some get her a big coffee or tea . Another one grab that big chocolate cake in one hand and bitch slap the server with the other hand. Next guy grab a pillow and super soft robe. Come sit here darling put your feet up. And we need a total hunk to start rubbing her feet. Ladies all grab a shot gun and patrol the perimeter and kill any hormonal teens that even look this direction. Lol

Rest assured you are not alone!

It's a bright, beautiful day, the birdsong I can hear is very relaxing. Enjoy the next few hours until they get back!!

Ps how old is your daughter? Mine is 14 and hasn't really spoken to me for 3 days since I had to have a chat to her about her tude. Expecting us to ferry her about and being cagey about who she's with, where she is and what time she needs collecting etc. It's a pain!

My daughter is 7 and feisty. My son is 14 and grunts. All normal and fine and usually entertaining. I'm a single mama and sometimes crave some one else to roll eyes with, share the load x

I might make you laugh!

I’m decorating, painting a nice grey under a middle wall dildo rail (dado)..

sat on a little stool it’s given way ( yep made me feel good about my weight) the paint tray on my knee.

Yup I’m covered I’ve got a full facial and although spending £100 last week at the hairdressers for a subtle blonde/grey look I’m now full on a more dark grey.

Last time I decorated I fell back on a ladder and broke my elbow

But I’m laughing as it could only happen to me!

Hope your day improves and I can wash the paint out my hair ha ha ha
