Who here is open about the way you are? Do you have face-pics on here or even face profile pic? Have any of you been caught out by doing so? What were the results?
Who here is open about it on fab? Who is publicly open about it?
Did you experience any benefits of showing a face pic? What about drawbacks? Is it worth having a public face pic? What do you think?

That's a lot of questions, John. 
I'm open about it. I don't, like, shout about stuff because nobody likes a shouty guy. But I'm comfortable. Others are comfortable not showing a face and they have varying reasons that are genuine and specific to them. And rightly so.
Do what you think is right specific to you I reckon, chum. |

I don't have public face pics because there are alot of idiots in my area who message me with utter crap.
I don't trust that i could be recognised in the supermarket or something and attract unwanted attention from the wrong person.
I had one pic up which showed my face and got an uninvited crass message from someone saying he recognised me. My face is for friends only to save any potential hassle.

I'm quite open with friends about being on here. I used to have my face pic as my profile pic but took it down when I started job hunting. I had at least 10 times more messages when I had my face pic up, so I think it's worth having as your profile pic if you're not worried about who sees it. |

I used to have a few face pics. Was done until I got recognised by a very camp gay man at work. He mentioned he recognised me, took him a while, then he shouted fabswingers. 3 of my staff where in the office. So so so embarrassing |

In an ideal world I would be open about it and even have a face pic in the public gallery. The reality is far different unfortunately, which forces me to be very discreet. Having a high profile role in a small environment certainly does me no favours. None of my pre fab friends or family know about my fab life either. Little risk of grief or hassle this way. |

In the job I do it would be most definitely be frowned upon and probably a discaplinary offence.
I was asked to do an advertising campaign for a boudoir shoot company at Christmas. I thought I'd better check it was OK.
Erm no. It would bring my "profession into disrepute" and I know of one person who got the sack for modelling underwear (same job, different place)

I have them in friends pics but however much I would like to have my face on here I can't as it would affect my job. Plus I've had people recognise me just from my clothes style before ?? |

I do a lot of negotiating with a wide variety of companies, and it would be incredibly difficult to not be wrong-footed if a supplier opened a negotiation with "love that photo with the dildo in your cleavage, by the way..."
I'm not particularly secretive and if someone asks for a face pic I'll share, but I wouldn't have one in my public pics.
Given my well-known feelings on monogamy most of the senior team at work will probably know my sex life is a little unorthodox, but nobody has asked so I've not discussed. Frankly it's none of their business.
As for family I don't really care. I'm single with no kids so there's not much at stake, if any of my family want to judge then so be it, no skin off my nose. |

I'm a "boss" and I've come across employees on here who will see I'm openly submissive. Nothing like the character they know but they do know I'm honest and open and a filthy bitch so I was happy to accept their friend request Haha. It changed nothing within work.

I'm self employed so luckily I don't have the apprehensions of workplace politics.
But I think if you put your face photos on, if possible, you tend to stand out a bit more. |

I think it's different how you've do your profile, if your face is on show and other public pics are more sedate let's say it's I can't see a prob. If your cock or pussy is out for all to see along with your face then I guess difficult situations arise.
I think bosses need to lighten up with employees pursuits outside of work - as long as they're legal. |

I dont tell anyone outside of Fab bar a housemate that I'm on here. I now have face pics up and I have the impression one or two people around my work know that I'm on here due to separate comments about my Zipper being down lol I haven't let on to them as I would prefer it didnt get about the place but I'll not lose sleep if it does  |

I have face pics which as Friends Only, and would send one in reply to a message if they'd sent one to me.
I wouldn't put one in public view though - I've heard a lot of horror stories from women who have had threatening messages claiming to know them and follow them in their local neighbourhood.
Also, I was approached by someone in my local supermarket once who recognised me just from my eyes  |

I am completely open about what we do. All my friends and family know...even most of my work colleagues. I work in Tesco and have had quite a few people recognize me from here. |

I think you will get some who are open and some who aren't. All depends on a few factors:
How open they are to friends and family - depends on the sortor way they were brought up and what cultural/social background they have.
What sort of work they do - if it's public facing like healthcare, social care, education, etc it will probably be a sensitive matter as your professional character will come into question (unfairly as this is your private affair and doesn't reflect you as a professional person, although work bosses could argue that your character and decision-making aren't trustworthy because you engage in questionable activities and thus affect the public like patients or children).
Safety - for single women it could be the concern of having random men from fab recognising you in your area and creeping on you, learning where you work or live |

No I don't show public face pics. I'm not ashamed or embarrassed by anything and if people ask I'll answer honestly but I mostly keep my sex life private because I figure no one wants to hear about it. |

I used to have face pics on here. Was easier as you didn't have to do the pic exchange. But it was sometimes awkward seeing old school friends on here.
However I don't have them on here now being a teacher. As I know of one woman nearby who got sacked for having sexy pictures on Facebook.
And even worse I work in a religious school so not only have the teaching standards of personal conduct that could be impacted by this but also the religious connotations of my school. |

Most people in my life know. I have an agreement with my kids dad to keep face pics hidden and try to be a bit modest which is totally fine with me, I like to leave a bit to the imagination.
I have bumped into people I know in clubs too.
Not once has it caused me issues because, quite frankly, it is mh sex life and someone trying to tell me I am wrong would be wasting their breath lol x |
