I find very rough sex helps shorten their duration, but I wouldn't have sex while on my period unless it was with a long term FB.

Orgasms *can* help a period go faster; it depends on the intensity of them and how strong a contraction you have when you do. If they are particular strong ones, then yep, they can help shed the uterine lining a lot faster which means you're over it a lot sooner.

It does work for me but generally around that time I want to black widow a man so not ideal.

I've noticed that if I am towards the end of my period, and the odd occasion I have had sex, it does seem to make my period about stop.

I always thought it was just sheer coincidence.

I find ibuprofen, which stops the cramps/contractions makes them last longer. Its now going to do any harm, unless you have white sheets!
