Or bread roll?
I personally like a fluffy white bread roll with salad cream as I don’t like butter or margarine and I like grated cheese with sliced cucumber. That’s my go to all time favourite.
I also like cheese salad cream and cherry tomatoes, it cheese salad cream and sweet pickled onions.
It’s quite hard to pick a favourite but try!

Oooooh so hard to choose on a breadroll I would probably say fish finger.
But my favourite sandwich would be goats cheese red onion chutney and watercress, maybe some crispy bacon on a Panini yum! |

I don’t mind butter on toast but not so much in a sandwich.
I LOVE salad cream on everything. Mixed in with tuna instead of mayo and on chips!

Not on a bread roll, on a ciabatta or seeded panini (no butter).
Sweet potato falafel, vegan cheese, mango chutney and spinach.
With the falafel cooked and the cheese melted and spinach wilted under the grill. |

There was a sandwich near my work that used to sell spicey chicken breast, bacon, lettuce and tomato on the softest bread and it was amazing. Especially with garlic mayo |

I really like a beefburger with cheap curry noodles and lashings and lashings of butter on a sandwich.
Or bacon and mayo with lashings and lashings of butter...
I think that any food that results in melted butter running down your arm is most definitely food of the gods. |

Does it have to be home made? Cos a steak and cheese from subway on Italian herb and cheese bread with extra cheese, lettuce, onions and olives is something I'm not sure I'd ever get tired of |

I’m gonna go down the shop now for some steak McCoys, got all the gear for my cheese and cucumber rolls but fancy some man crisps with it. Not long had my tea either.

Up on them there hills |
"Brie, bacon and cramberry in a crunchy granary baguette. "
That sounds nice going to try that.
At present mine is wafer thin brisket taken out of warm gravy, mounded with homemade sweet, pickled onion rings.
Or roast ham and turkey with a sharp piccalilli. |
