If you were meeting a woman and she didn't wear make up?
In day to day life I don't really bother with it, but I do if I'm going to a club or somewhere special. I don't like the way it feels though, I pretty much just do it because it's what's expected.
I'm just curious to see what you all think. |

It wouldn't bother me at all , doesn't change who the person is, especially if you've been talking beforehand and built up a connection then it wouldn't make a difference at all |

I wear glasses too unfortunately but I usually leave them at home for club nights and commit to a face of makeup for the night. Otherwise I'd feel like my usual nerdy self and I don't think that's an attractive look for me =')
It's nice to see that people don't seem to mind too much =) |

I stick to this saying, if you can't appreciate someone at thier worst, you don't deserve them at thier best.
It's a saying that can be taken in different ways depending on the circumstances.
If I were to meet someone, I'd want to meet her looking how she normally does or however way she feels comfortable. |

It wouldn't bother me if a lady was not wearing any makeup, she's lucky to not have to. I can't leave the house without a minimum face on (covering bad skin and alopecia eyebrows) and then I wear more for dressing up, but I do it for me, nobody else. |

I have met a girl who rarely wears make up and I am crazy for her, I often meet her at lunch times and due to her work she doesnt wear make up and she looks lovely
Over the time of seeing her I now realise I prefer females without make up or very little make up.
One thing I absolutely hate is how many females today pluck or cut their eyebrows then try and colour then in or tattoo them in
I do not know on any guy that actually thinks this is sexy
most mates I speak to at work or having a drink think its a total turn off and its a pure turn off for myself too
so come on girls, do us guys a favour and leave your eye browns natural, we dont like them any other way. |

Interesting .. it's all so twisted isn't it. You want women to be natural. The eye brow brigade probably do it to look more attractive.
But because you dont deem it attractive, you want them to stop doing it regardless. Still telling women what to do AND how to be attractive, doing you a favour.
It's not a criticism by the way .. its just interesting how stuck in the cycle lots of us are around women needing to be attractive for men rather than just be themselves.

I wear makeup because I love experimenting with different looks and enhancing what is already there. I don't think I'm ugly but I'm no model. It makes me feel more confident and plays to the outfit I may be wearing.
I can go sans makeup however I usually don't want to. The bare minimum I will do is my eyebrows and lips.
If a guy wants to meet me without and with, that's fine by me but I would cringe if a guy told me what to do with my makeup look or outfit. Especially as a first meet... |

I would be fine with it.
The chances are that I would be makeup free for a day time social myself.
I only tend to wear it to go out, and do so because I like to.

Make-up gets me going. Eyeliner, mascara etc, it really turns me on.
The chance of me going crazy inside while chatting with her is higher with make-up. |

I rarely wear makeup if I go for a social. I rarely wear it during the day. It's not because I'm brave or other such stuff - I'm lazy and sensory issues mean I'd rather not most of the time (although I'm looking forward to getting it done for an event!).
I don't mind if a woman does or doesn't wear makeup - as long as she felt comfortable and was happy than I'm happy with whatever she chooses to.

Well this FEMALE has very sparse hair so I don't really have eyebrows naturally so I fill them in and that makes me feel comfortable and confident that I don't look perpetually surprised.
So I don't care what MALES think. I do my make up for myself and if I don't feel like a full face of make up I won't regardless of what the opposite sex thinks.
This WOMAN looks fine with or without makeup but I'll die with brows on point |

I do appreciate good make up, not over the top but done well it is nice.
It's also nice to know someone has made an effort when they meet you if you've done so yourself. (That's not saying if you don't wear make up you haven't made any effort)
Would it bother me if a woman didn't wear any? Not really. I would accept that's her choice, but then the type of women I meet do wear make up. I've never had one turn up without, Yet. |

Yes, I have these debates with myself all the time! Who am I doing it for? Is it me, or is it for others? And if it's for others, for example my husband, is that always a bad thing? Same debate over dying my grey hairs. It's a minefield.

"If you were meeting a woman and she didn't wear make up?
In day to day life I don't really bother with it, but I do if I'm going to a club or somewhere special. I don't like the way it feels though, I pretty much just do it because it's what's expected.
I'm just curious to see what you all think.
Yes, I have these debates with myself all the time! Who am I doing it for? Is it me, or is it for others? And if it's for others, for example my husband, is that always a bad thing? Same debate over dying my grey hairs. It's a minefield.

Absolutely.. I haven't cracked it my self either. There was a time I wouldn't leave the house without mascara on. I love getting dressed up and powing my features (erm just mascara and lippy, not exactly a make over). I need to feel comfy either way. And I do question who am I doing it for? If I'm comfy with the answer either way then it's probably all good.
Our cultural norm for beauty is not a natural look. Acceptance of the FULLY natural woman would be great, just great. |

Wouldn’t bother me in the slightest..
The only make up I ever wore was eyeliner until 7 years ago when my youngest was born I developed rosacea and now I wear foundation when going on a night out etc just to cover the redness but for work or normal day to day I don’t bother, I just look like a tomato lol |

Not at all, I took my ex wife for dinner the weekend and she never had make up on or false anything. Thought she looked amazing, she used to look like lily savage when she had all that shit on. |
