Just back from my routine Dentist & Hygienist appointment.

While you're sat in the chair, what do you think of to distract yourself?

I love the hygienist treatment. I have the Sylk treatment which is like having your teeth sandblasted

My dentist pokes his tongue out when he's concentrating and hums when he's not.

Nothing really. Dentists have never intimidated me. Loved going as a child. Free to play video game arcade games in the waiting area. Loved it!

I have some great conversations with my dentist; she always makes me laugh. She always compliments my flossing too, which makes me feel guilty because I hardly do it.

Wouldn't have thought you'd need to sit in the chair whilst they check over falsies? Is the steredent not enough, OP?!

I don't mind the dentist, I hate the hairdresser though, so go to dentist more often than hairdresser! I often think what he'd think if I opened up FAB instead of mindlessly scrolling Insta!

I'm just joking, I've had a couple of root canal treatment with no pain, you'll be fine

Funnily enough I use to be more worried about the injection than the work, some dentists are hopeless at it. They've got anesthetic cream now so it's fine.

My dentist could be a male model he is very striking looking, he does clear his throat a lot tho in a nervous tic sort of a way

I just lie back and concentrate on the painting on the ceiling till he has done whatever he needs to do

I think it's just the thought of it. I've had teeth out and not even known he's got it out!
