The mighty gas are home today and we've had a good January transfer window and kept hold of our current top striker and got a few faces in.
After scoring 1 goal in Jan hope we turn our form. |

Not my team but I've just read the story about Wigan, a well run and financially viable club going bust.
Sold to a far east betting company, then to a Cayman Island holding company with links to the betting co. Main man involved in the sales has gone awol, and his puppet has put them into administration causing a 12 point deduction.
Coincidentally, there appears to be a large amount of money in bets due to be paid out if they are relegated. There's even audio of Rick Parry saying he's aware that there may be bets involved.
The whole thing is a bit more complicated than that but that's the rough story so far. Except for the staff not being paid yesterday, including furloughed staff, so the people behind it have now taken treasury money for the staff but not passed it on.
My sympathies if you're a Wigan fan, you appear to have had your club stolen for a bet. |

I’m not a Wigan fan but the fact that the EFL appears to have let this happen is shocking. |

Middlesbrough supporter here. Just hoping to god that Neil Warnock can save us from the drop. Putting Woodgate in charge was a rediculous decision and we are now paying the price. Its an awful way to think, but i think we will be only saved by Wigans points deduction. We are absolutely dross, and lack the heart and the fight that our other fellow strugglers possess. I hope by some miracle we survive, and Warnock can work his magic next year like he has done with so many other teams. |

Newcastle and Gateshead |
weird thing is..... after all that it was not VAR that was the difference between a team staying up or going down, it ended up being Hawkeye!! (remember the goal that never was for sheffield united against villa in the very first game of restart!)
oh well........ bring on that of the championship playoffs...... |
