"Just seen in the news about some more antisemitic graffiti in London.
Tomorrow is Holocaust memorial day.
What is it about London, it's people and it's politics that makes it so antisemitic?"
It's not London or it's people. |

How much is so much?
Seems there is a very small amount of graffiti .... any amount is too much , granted but it's not happening across London on a half hourly basis day after day with the entirety of the population taking part.
I can't find any mention of it on the net yet .... |

If you're talking about the Caribbean take away in Greenwich and the Barclays bank in Charlton that were daubed with racist/anti-semitic graffiti and being reported on Sky currently OP - while as Granny C says it's too much - I'd hardly say it's representative of attitudes in London as a whole.
I'd also suggest that the Caribbean take away graffiti (a swastika and a Celtic cross representing white supremacy) is more racist than anti-semitic - doesn't make it more or less right of course but does further detract from your suggestion of widespread anti-semitism in London.
Of course neither should be tolerated but sadly there will always be those minorities that see this kind of thing as acceptable and therefore do so - but it's just that "a minority" of mindless idiots, not a culture that is widespread.
London is one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world and thr overwhelming majority of Londoners embrace and celebrate that |

"Many ethnic minorities that are prevalent in inner London are well known to harbour antisemitic sentiments.
And they have just voted in a bunch of antisemitic MPs to prove it."
The Labour party are still under investigation by the European Court of Human Rights for the antisemitism shown by many of its members. It's not just the jack-booted skinheads anymore, it's far more insidious. |

You've taken just three steps to turn your pretence of concern about the scourge of antisemitism into the depressingly predictable attack on a political party that everyone saw coming from the start.
I mean, someone might argue that appropriating the suffering of the Jewish people as a vehicle to ram through your political viewpoint is unspeakably vile and exploitative, and therefore an antisemitic act in itself... |

Fixed it for you.
(Intolerance in all its guises is unacceptable. And sweeping generalisations aren't helpful - as hopefully this demonstrates.) |

"Unless you've lived in a Catholic country you don't know what real anti semitism is. Born and bred Londoner with Jewish roots here. "
I don’t really get this one, are you saying ‘Catholic countries’ are more likely to hate Jews ? |

Someone would argue that because that's exactly what happened. Leaves a thoroughly nasty taste in the mouth. |

You couldn’t be more wrong with your opening statement OP.
London is one of the most entwined and multi cultural places on this island.
Of course there will always be small minorities that don’t think like others or acceptance of other races and religions, however, that happens all across this country in every city and town.

"It was a couple of squirts of pain...
No big deal.. press building it up as usual..
London is a hotbed of shite waiting to erupt in my opinion but nothing big in this story to be honest ... "
Nice to see you've backtracked a little from your previous "London is a warzone" stance - however you've a little further to go still - "hotbed of shite waiting to erupt"? That's laughable, London is no more likely to erupt wholesale, than any other city in the Western world, and probably a lot less so than some - sure there may be areas where there are tensions, but they're very small and those tensions are largely contained. |

"It does intrigue me why the Labour party cannot seem to get away from this criticism..
Is there a wider agenda ,?"
Various sources report that there have been up 15 000 individual cases of antisemitism reported to the EHRC in reference to Labour party members and supporters. I guess your question will be answered when they publish the final report. |
