Well my first birthday present from Sir turned up today. A freezer as i havent had one since my ex walked off with mine and his when he moved out. How practical and romantic is that lol so come on girls what practical presents have you been bought in the past that made you cringe? I actually love mine today as have been trying to replace mine for ages but never have spare cash. |

Is it going to make your life easier, to me that is thoughtful |

I can’t believe how ungrateful some people can be. I like getting practical gifts… at least they are…. practical. And if the giver knows you need it, it’s very thoughtful as well.
My brother bought me an angle grinder for my 40th.

Or £20 spent on some flowers, chocolate and a half price bottle of bubbly from Tesco. A week later what have you got to show for it? Certainly nothing worth selling on ebay. |

i got my various practical presents... Tv, laptop, another when that died, A car, shopping trip (mainly because thought she needed New wardrobe contents lol) or three. A few surprise holidays away. Sexy boots. All practical But i think she appreciated them. I think. Only split up with her as i had ultimately high sex drive than she does, i didnt want to keep 'pestering' her for sex. Nor did i want to cheat on her as she was a lovely girl. funny thing though its a real turn on being with a woman who is playing behind her husband. |

Happy birthday hunny
Slight tangent, but it made me laugh...
I know this couple who had been in need of a break, things were getting on top of them and they needed some 'them' time away from the kids and everything,
She asked him to arrange something - a surprise destination and left him to it.
So she was imagining Paris or Prague or similarly romantic.
He booked a trip to Auschwitz

I love Blackpool used to go for the the nearest weekend to every birthday, stayed at the 'Big Blue Hotel', never did the pubs - just love the pleasure beach and in October there's no queueing
