I’m not sure it’s showing off. Some of us drive cars because we enjoy them! Not what others think of us. What would you all say/think of you saw me in my Noble? I’d be trying to hide away and find a quiet road. I don’t really like the attention it gets! |

I think it’s a good question, and a nice way to get a conversation going on here.
As for your noble, had a go in an M12 GTO, it’s the most terrifying plastic box I’ve ever sat in! Thing just wanted to kill me. |

That’s what I thought. Doesn’t need to be showing off. More just finding common ground.
So did you like the noble then. If it was just a GTO then it was only a baby one |

Currently have a sensible dad car
But my most interesting one was a 2013 civic, highly modified audio car, cables upgraded to 70mm to supply three batteries powering a 5000 watt rms amp which was supposed to feed two 15” sundown audio Zv4 subwoofers, ended up only being able to fit one in....monster subs that weighed in at about 45kg each.
Was tested to about 145dB but would of been closer to 150dB if both subs were in.
I miss that car |

It doesn't time travel YET. Doc brown took 30 years to realise his vision |

I've got a car, it's a sort of greenish greyish blackish sort of colour, and the boot is three quarters full of shoes, bags, old towels, tools, general junk. When it's fully overflowing I'll probably get a new car. |

Don't think it counts as a petrol head car though, my partner has treated herself to a Telsa Model S the Electricians are fitting the charging port this week. |

I love cars and I unashamedly say that a man with a great car gets extra points for me- he still has to be drop dead gorgeous though...
We had a Porsche 911 Carrera a few years ago. Dark blue. A real dream, but baby No. 2 arrived and we had to let it go...
I love long drives on my 2018 Volvo XC90 ... once the teenager can drive, he’ll get his dad’s Audi A1, I’ll pass over the Volvo and I’ll get a cobalt blue or red Mustang. |

I prefer 2 wheels but I’ve had a few nice cars (current car is practical sadly)
My GT86, although not exotic or super fast was probably my favourite - once I’d learned how to handle it |

Bit of a petrol head here.
My baby is a 1959 mk2 Zephyr that I drag race at Santa Pod every now and again.
It's modified with a 302 cu in engine (about five litres)
It's pretty quick for a sixty year old car.
I also have a few project cars. A couple not too common. A Lightspeed Magenta kit car from the 70's and a Mazda Xedos 6 which was my daily driver but needs a bit if love now.

Two wheels are where my heart is but still had a few nice classic cars the best were the 67 S Type Jag & the 68 MB 280Se 3.5 V8... the worst was probably the Rover SD1 V8S ironically one of the most collectible of the SD1’s now.
Currently driving a Touareg but in keeping with the petrol head spirit it’s a 3.2 v6 petrol/Lpg (Golf R32 engine) with a manual six speed box.
Drinks like a fish when you want to get a shift on but makes such a nice noise. Added bonus is we don’t get cut off when the snow arrives

Ohhh I've got a 30 year old fiesta with less than 30 k on the clock. She's ace.
My uncle has owned a DB5 (new) and a Jenson interceptor. My favourite car excluding the fiesta was a BMW 535i that I bought on a whim. |

I was born a petrolhead. Have full motorbike license. My father rallied, raced, and worked for Fords in the design team. Cars I've owned: Austin Healey Sprite Mark 1 (frogeye) Austin A30 saloon, van and A35. Morris Minor saloons, traveller. Ford Anglia (loved him) Ford Anglia 100E, Standard 10. Now I have champagne tastes with tap water money lol. But my Megane convertible is lovely .... and I know a very sexy mechanic |

When I lived in Billericay I had a neighbour who was a manager at Dunton. Sapphire Cosworth was his company car of choice & he took me on a jolly there once & we blasted round the test track in a rally spec RS200. Scared the absolute crap out of me

I’m in the market for a new car, visited the showrooms on Saturday and feel totally in love with the F Pace Jag. Actually really fell I love with the F Type convertible next to it, but that’s a bit out of my price range |

I believe it's called Mystic Teal
It's a bluey green or a greeny blue - if that makes any sense.
I'll have to stick a picture of it up on my profile later today |

Had a Frogeye in the early 60s, great little fun car, sold it when Mini Cooper S became available, revisited the Frogeye marque again in the early 90s but not the same fun as the swinging 60s |

That’ll have been lovely. Always wanted one of them, especially a e61. Just not sure if I count get on with the gearbox and if I’d be better off going old school with a e34 m5 |

When I went over a speed bump in my first car about a week after I got it a butterfly knife and a packet of suspicious powder fell out from behind the dash.
Now that car could have told some interesting tales. |

I have a 1996 Pontiac Firebird that I've owned for 17 years.
It's currently off the road as I've pulled the Engine and gearbox for overhaul (gearbox needs it, Engine doesn't, but at 155,000 miles it won't hurt)
Minor restoration, sorting out some surface rust under the car, that sort of thing.
Going to be painting the engine and box during the rebuild too, so they look a lot better at car events |

So, to follow on from who has interesting cars. Does anyone actually get turned on or is attracted by people with them? Or is the idea that a Ferrari will drop a girls panties quicker than it’ll do 0-60 all one big lie!

My first boyfriend had a Sierra Cosworth, Lordy, Lordy, In those days I loved cars, their stereos, speakers, rebadging etc. However nowadays, I’m not into cars anymore, as long as it gets you from A to B smoothly, in a quick time and is kept clean and tidy, then I’m not fussy... $- |
