Surely in the example you give though OP there is still an attraction - just not necessarily to a physical thing, but a mental stimulation i.e. the kink - and if all concerned are happy with that arrangement then what's the harm?
Unless of course the gratification is purely personal and you adopt an "any holes a goal" type approach where the kink is more important than the person you're indulging it with, or they are being kept under false pretences, in which case it's not weird, but is very wrong |

Maybe but it can be confusing on here. There's a perceived normal among many forum contributors which is fairly narrow considering the nature of the site we're on  and often quite strongly expressed. If you're outside of that normal it might be easy to consider yourself weird but you're really not.

For me no. I was involved in kink and fetish long before I was involved in swinging. I've met doms and it's just not worked.
