Hi, has anyone had any experience of weird and unexplainable thing happening which left you scratching your head? I'm not asking about paranormal and ghost stuff, rather more like deja vu or random strangeness, if that makes sense?
Something weird happened a few years ago that has always played on my mind. I was home alone on my phone just doing random stuff. Time was around 2am and I was living in a very quiet street with neighbours I knew very well. No TV or any other electrical transmitting device was switched on.
All of a sudden I can hear a conversation between 2 women, speaking in a foreign language coming from somewhere INSIDE my house. It seemed like the conversation started mid conversation and must have lasted about 1 minute at the most. Then all of a sudden it stopped. Like someone pressed the mute button. Again it was mid conversation. The voices sounded very slightly muffled, but clear enough to understand it was 2 women talking.
I almost shit myself, but managed to run around the house from room to room looking for the source of the voices. I even checked outside through the windows just incase someone was talking outside, but 100% sounded as if the voices were inside the house.
Lived in that house for over 10 years and nothing ever strange or weird happened before. Next day asked both my neighbours but they had no idea what I was talking about.
Sorry for the long post but not feeling sleepy and once again alone in the house and the memory came back. If you have any stories about glitches please do share.

No, nothing like that in the house. Even now i don't have anything like Alexa and that google thing that talks to you. |

I guess the logical solution is that it was actually outside or just a figment of your imagination. |

Nothing like that has happened since and living in a cul-de-sac you could see the whole grove from the upstairs window. Voices were definitely inside the house. I don't drink or do drugs so can't blame that. Definitely heard the voices though. |

Nothing like that has happened since and living in a cul-de-sac you could see the whole grove from the upstairs window. Voices were definitely inside the house. I don't drink or do drugs so can't blame that. Definitely heard the voices though."

No, it was a language that I had never heard before. Usually I can half guess a language if it was Asian or European lingo for example, but this was something that was spoken very fast and completely alien to me? If that makes sense. |

Phone was in my hand. But voices sounded distant, but close enough to be coming from somewhere in the house. For some strange reason I could not tell which direction they were coming from? |

The only thing that's really ever happened to me that I can't explain, happened about 10 years ago.
My sister called me and said her friend (who claims to be a medium)
Had just called her and said "you need to call your sister now, tell her the man in corner of her living room loves her very much and he's no longer in pain".
Being a total sceptic I dismissed it.
Less than 2 minutes later I get a phone call to say my best friend had died.
Later that evening it dawned on me that I had a photo of him in the corner of my lounge!
I had never met this woman and my sister had never seen the photo as it had only been taken 2 weeks before.

I did have a weird experience in lanzarotti. I went there on holiday for my 40th a few years ago and while there we visited a resort. Don't recall the name of the town.
What was odd was that I've never been to lanzarotti before but I knew my way around this town. I had a very distinct feeling of deja vu and told my ex and friends all this. They were all amused but it did freak me out at the time. |

OP what you describe sounds similar to hypnagogia. A common experience that occurs between wakefulness and sleep. People can report hearing voices, seeing things. Just a weird freaky thing the brain does when transitioning from awake to sleep. |

I've had that a fair few times, sometimes it can seem like there is a fair amount of time between the conversation I'm remembering and the one I'm having too..... Very weird |
