Okay so its in the news at the moment over the war crimes trial in the Hague.
Now, travel back to the 70's and some bright spark in Hull city council decided it would be good to twin Hull with S.L, we all remember town twinning don't we?
Well we still are, and after seeing some of the pics of war torn Sierra Leone on the news, it struck me.
There is no difference between S.L and some of the run down estates in Hull!!!!  |

Its not far wrong! Some nice people though they take your car wheels away for cleaning over night and give you bricks as a pressie while doing so. |

All this talk about sierra leone been compare with Hull.... i find this very distastefull. i hope in Hull people dont get there hands hacked off, kill unborn babies and burn down buildings with people in them and seeing your mum been raped....if thats how it is in Hull then people in Hull have a massive problem...if not then pele i think we should all be a bit more sensitive as what really went on in Freetown...and by the way for you lot ...Freetown is the capital city of Sierra leone, in West Africa. |

My parents used to live in Freetown in Sierra Leone for 3 years in the 80s and I used to visit them on my school holidays. It had some amazingly beautiful beaches and countryside. It's awful that civil war broke out. |
