It's from 1950 and gives advice on contraception and is also a catalogue for purchasing all manners of contraception. It's fascinating a scarey
you can buy a box of 2 dozen Grade No 54 sheaths for 28 shillings (approx £1.65).
The shop was in Fleet Street London and states that "Birth Control Requisites are tactfully displayed in the windows of our establishment in a manner which cannot offend the most sensitive or fastidious person"

Blimey ,Grade 54 .. ?? they had a few different one's in them days then ..my dad had an Ice Cream Van with' Stop me and Buy one' wrote on the bonnet ..or was it'and in his Barbers shop he had the sign # Buy me and Stop one 'after the 'Anything for the weekend 'SIR ?' poster , lol...   |
